Use the free web archiving sites, Archive.Today or Ghost Archive to unblock The Times UK website articles.
1. Archive.Today
There are two ways to use the Archive.Today to read UK The Times or Sunday Times free online.
Firstly, you can check whether the particular article which you want to read has been archived.
If it has been archived, then you can read it right away.
This is what you do:
Go to Archive.Today site.
Scroll down a little, there is a black color box with the text: "I want to search the archive for saved snapshots".
For example you want to read the UK Times article, "Arnold Schwarzenegger: I’ve turned to self-help. First tip — take a daily jacuzzi".
Copy the article URL, by right clicking on the article title.
The context menu pops up, click on the "Copy Link" (Firefox) or "Copy link address" (Chrome).
Now paste the article URL inside the space provided at the black box.
Then click the "search" button.
If the article is already archived, it will appear on the page.
To read the full unblocked article, "Arnold Schwarzenegger: I’ve turned to self-help. First tip — take a daily jacuzzi", click on the image, the title or the URL.
If that particular article is still not archived, it says "No results", together with the list of 5 options to do.
Click on the first option, "archive this url".
It would begin loading and archiving the article.
After it has finished archiving it, you can see the complete UK The Time article right there.
Archive.Today extension
For ease of use, you can install its extension to your browser.
Then you can read the full articles directly from The Times UK website.
Currently you can only install Archive.Today extension to Google Chrome browser.
Unfortunately Mozilla Firefox has removed it, but you can install this One-Click Archive.Today extension for Firefox.
Google Chrome Browser:
Get Archive.Today extension for Chrome here.
After you have installed the extension, pin it to the toolbar.
The icon of the Archive.Today is a globe with the share symbol.
These are the three (3) ways to read UK The Times articles free with the Archive Today extension for Chrome.
Click on Archive.Today icon
Go to the UK The Times homepage and click on the article which you want to read
As it is, the article is blocked by its paywall.
Ignore it, instead click on the Archive Today icon at the toolbar.
It goes to the Archive Today site.
If the article has already been archived, you can read it right away.
If not, then you have to to load and archive it.
Right click on article text
At the blocked article, right click anywhere on the blocked article, a context menu box pops up.
Then click on "Search archive.today for page".
Similarly it takes you to the Archive.Today site.
Again if the page have already been archived, you can see it right there.
If not, then load and archive it.
Right click on article title
The third way is when you are at the UK The Times homepage or from the Google search engine results pages.
Right click on the article title.
The context menu box pops up, move your mouse cursor from "Archive" to "Archive link" and "Search link".Click on any of these two choices.
When you click on the "Archive link", and if the article is already archived, you can read it right away.
If not, then automatically it will start loading to archive it for you.
When you click on the "Search link", and if the article is already archived, you can see it right there.
But if the article is still not archived, it says "No results".
You have to click on the hyperlink "archive this url", then click the "save" button.
Then wait for it to archive it.
Mozilla Firefox Browser:
Mozilla has removed Archive.Today extension.
But you can install this One-Click Archive.Today extension.
Similarly, download and install this extension to your Firefox.
The One-Click Archive.Today icon is a piece of paper, as shown below.
Then pin it to your Firefox toolbar.
To bypass The Times UK paywall, click on its icon on the toolbar.
It opens in a new page with the full article.
2. Ghost Archive
Similarly, you can use the other web caching called Ghost Archive to access unlimited free articles of https://www.thetimes.co.uk.
It also has two options which you can either search for the archive articles, or you submit the article URL just like the Archive.Today.
To search whether an article has been archived, paste the article URL in the empty box next to "Search for archived sites:", then click the "Search for sites" button.
If the article is still not archived, it would show the remark "No archives for that site".
To archive this article, click "Archive it now?" button.
Otherwise you can paste the article URL into the other box next to "Website to be archived", and click the "Submit for archival" button.
3. 12ft Ladder
This is the easiest way to read The Times UK article for free.
In the past it cannot work, but now it is working perfectly.
It works for both Google Chrome and Mozilla Firefox browsers.
Go to 12 feet website.
Paste the article URL in the box provided.
Then click "Clean Webpage".
The blocked article will appear right away.
That's all.
4. Bypass Paywalls Clean extension
You can also use this popular browser extension to read The Times and Sunday Times UK articles for free.
Just download and install this paywall remover extension by Magnolia 1234 to your browser.
It works for both Firefox and Chrome browsers.

5. Google Translate
You can use Google Translate to remove U. K. Times paywall too.
For instance, the blocked URL is:
https://www.thetimes.com/uk/politics/article/surge-in-emigration-inquiries-as-wealthy-brits-fear-tax-raids-cjvzssxbg
Go to Google Translate, select "Websites" and paste the blocked URL, click "Translate".
This is the translated article which is now unblocked:

6. Shackle-free
This is another easy way how to read U. K. Times for free.
Go to Shackle-free site, paste the blocked article URL.
Click "Read" button, and the full unblocked article appears right there and then.
7. PrintFriendly
It is similar to using Google Translate.
Go to PrintFriendly site, paste the article URL in the space provided, and click the "Preview" button.
You can see the complete unblocked article right there.
