All these latest tips to unlock Medium members only articles definitely work.
But not all of the methods can bypass both: Short. Sweet. Valuable and Medium Long. Sweet. Valuable.
I highlighted it for each method.
The former site articles are less than 300 words, and the latter one is for articles with 300 plus words.
I have tried them out to ensure they really can get past paywalls of both Medium websites.
Many tips and suggestions how to read Medium for free in Reddit, Quora and even LinkedIn are either/or outdated and cannot work anymore.
I think the tip using medium.rip and scribe.rip are working anymore.
For instance, this rather new LinkedIn article (June 2024), "How to read Medium.com articles for free", still suggesting using browser's private or incognito mode and disable JavaScript to bypass the paywall.
If I am not wrong, these two methods do not get past Medium paywall anymore.
So are: 12ft.io, outline.com, 1ft.io, disable cookies, disable CSS, Bypass Paywalls Clean extension, and Pocket.
Currently if you go to Medium homepage, you cannot find any of the articles.
Click the "Start reading" button, the sign in/subscription box pops up instead.
To get to the Medium articles, go to its explore topics page.

Click the first option, "archive this url".
It would begin loading and archiving the article.
