2. Archive.Today

Use the archiving site Archive.Today to read the blocked Economist articles.

Firstly, you can check whether the particular article which you want to read has been archived.

If it has been archived, then you can read it right away.

This is what you do:

Go to Archive.Today site.

Scroll down a little, there is a black color box with the text: "I want to search the archive for saved snapshots".

For example you want to read The Economist article, "Tinned fish is swimming against the tide".

Copy the article URL, by right clicking on the article title.

Then click the "search" button.

If the article is already archived, it will appear on the page.

If that particular article is still not archived, it says "No results", together with the list of 5 options to do.

This is any easy and fast way how to read The Economist for free.

Go to Shackle-free site, paste the blocked article URL on the space provided.

Then click the "Read" button, and the full unblocked article appears.
