Secondly, which is more crucial; they can be a threat to your online privacy and security.

For this tutorial, I try to avoid using the browser extension where possible.

How To Read Boston Globe For Free

Now, let's find out the various workable ways on how to read Boston Globe for free by avoiding its paywall.

METHOD ONE: Reader View/Mode

This is the easiest way to get around The Boston Globe paywall.

You do not have to install any software to your browser.

The Reader View function is readily available in Firefox browser.

The good thing about the Reader View, it gives you a tidy and clutter-free page.

It strips away buttons, ads, background images, and videos.

Firefox Browser:

For Firefox, it is located at the toolbar (top right hand corner of your laptop screen).

The small GRAY color icon is a symbol of a page with lines.

1. Paste the following line to the address bar of your Chrome and it will jump to the page where you can enable it.

chrome://flags/#enable-reader-mode

2. Click on the drop down menu, and select "Enabled".

3. Click the button at the bottom to relaunch your browser.

4. Now, your Chrome has Reader Mode enabled.

5. You can see its GRAY color icon of a book with three lines at the toolbar.

2. A menu will drop down.

3. Move down your cursor to "Page Style".

4. Then slide your cursor over to "No Style" and click on it.
