Where To Find Your Domain WHOIS Information

The other day I was thinking of migrating to another web hosting company. I read it mentioned something about WHOIS information.

The WHOIS is where it has all the information about a registered domain. Info which includes domains ownership, billing, domain availability status, administrative, IP address, IP location, and information about the company the domain is registered with (the Registrar).

It also contains website title, domain’s registration and expiration dates, the nameservers domain is using.

1. To find your domain WHOIS, you go to: http://whois.domaintools.com/

2. Type in your domain address in the empty space provided.

3. Click Search.

4. Then you should see all the information there.
