If you want to remove or uninstall Softonic Toolbar from your "Internet Explorer", this is what you do:
First the "Menu bar" must be visible in your "Internet Explorer".
If it is not there, first look for "Tools" which is actually hidden at the top right hand corner.
You need to click on this symbol >> to see it. From "Tools", select "Toolbars". And then click on "Bar Menu". Now it should be visible on your Explorer browser.

Once you have the Menu Bar on your Explorer browser, this is what you do to remove Softonic toolbar.
1. To remove Softonic Toolbar, firstly click on "Tools" at the top far right hand corner. Follow the above instruction on how to locate "Tools".
2. Now click on "Manage Add-ons".
3. Click on 'Enable or Disable Add-Ons'. In the list of "Add-ons" select "Softonic English Toolbar".
4. Click on the 'Disable' button. You need to restart your computer for it to take effect

If you can't see the Menu Bar. Click ALT on the keyboard and the menu bar will show up.
If you want it to be there, you need to right click anywhere on the empty space of the menu bar, a box pops up.
Then click on the words "Menu Bar". It will be checked (meaning there will be a tick sign next to it). So the next time if you open Explorer browser, the Menu Bar will be visible.

To keep it permanent there, you have to right click somewhere on the empty space of the Menu Bar, a box will pop up. Then click on "Menu Bar".
When the Menu Bar is properly setup on your Mozilla Firefox browser, this is what you do to remove Softonic Toolbar.

3. On the drop down menu, select "Options".
4. Next click "General".
5. Under Homepage, click "Restore to Default".
6. Then click on "Manage Add-ons". It will take you to new page. Now look for Softonic listed among the "Extensions".
7. Click "Remove" or "Disable". Then you need to restart as instructed.
Note: The other simple method is just click "Tool". From the drop down menu, click "Add-ons".
A new page will appear, showing you the list of add-ons. Select Softonic.
