How to use Ultrasurf Google Chrome extension

Install and use Ultrasurf Chrome extension: Download and install the extension from Google Web Store, then pin it to toolbar. To connect or disconnect click its icon at toolbar.

This is a quick tip how to install and use Ultrasurf Google Chrome extension.

In my past blog post, I shared with you how to install and use this free proxy client on Firefox.

You see by default settings, when you install Ultrasurf to your computer, it will open automatically via Google Chrome.

But there is a much easier and simpler way to use Ultrasurf with Chrome.

You just install the UltraSurf Chrome extension onto the Chrome browser.

It is very easy to use and support all platforms (Windows, Mac and Linux, etc.)

Each time when you want to use UltraSurf, you just click the extension on the address bar.

How to install and use Ultrasurf Google Chrome extension

Install Ultrasurf Chrome extension

1. Open your Chrome browser.

2. Click HERE to get the Ultrasurf Chrome Extension.

3. Click "Add to Chrome" button.

4. A box pops up, click "Add extension".

5. Once it is successfully installed, you can see its small icon on the right hand corner of the address bar.

6. Instantly it opens its homepage.

7. Click the Extension icon (jigsaw puzzle piece picture) at the toolbar to pin Ultrasurf icon.

Now you can start using it to get to those blocked websites in your country.

How to use Ultrasurf

1. Type in any of the blocked sites into the search box (ENHANCED BY Google),

2. For instance, for those outside USA, if you want to access the music streaming service Pandora.

3. Type: Pandora radio or Pandora music in the search box. 

How to disconnect Ultrsurf

To disable Ultrasurf, this is what you do:

1. Click the small icon on the address bar at the top right hand corner.

2. A menu drops down.

3. From here you can see the on-off  toggle switch next to the word "Connected".

4. Click the "On" and it will slide to "Off" .

5. Next to it the word "Disconnected" appears.

6. The small Ultrasurf icon at the address bar turns to gray color.

How to connect Ultrasurf

7. The next time you want to use Ultrasurf again, click on the gray color Ultrasurf icon at the toolbar.

8. A box pops up, click the Off toggle switch. 

How To Use Ultrasurf Chrome Extension

9. Automatically it changes to On, and the word Connected appears briefly.

10. The icon at the toolbar is now in in full color, which means you are now connected to Ultrasurf.
