This is a quick tip how to use Ultrasurf with Google Chrome extension or add-on.
In my past blog post, I shared with you how to install and use this free proxy client.
As I have explained in that tutorial, you can use Ultrasurf with FireFox and Google Chrome.
You see by default settings, when you install Ultrasurf to your computer, it will open automatically via Google Chrome.
But there is a much easier and simpler way to use Ultrasurf with Chrome.
You just install the UltraSurf Chrome extension or add-on on to the Chrome browser.
It is very easy to use and support all platforms (Windows, Mac and Linux, etc.)
How To Use Ultrasurf With Google Chrome Extension
Each time when you want to use UltraSurf, you just click the extension on the address bar.
This is what you do:
STEP #1: Install Ultrasurf Chrome extension
1. Open your Chrome browser.
2. Click HERE to get the Ultrasurf Chrome Extension.
3. Click "Add to Chrome" button.
4. A box pops up, click "Add extension".
5. Once it is successfully installed, you can see its small icon on the right hand corner of the address bar.
STEP #2: How to use Ultrasurf
1. To open Ultrasurf, you click the icon on the address bar.
2. It will open the Ultrasurf home page.
3. You can begin to view all those blocked YouTube videos or even access other sites that are blocked in your country.
4. To do that, first you delete away the domain "home.ultrasurfing.com" in the box.
5. Then paste the blocked YouTube video URL or any other search term in the box and then click the magnifying glass icon, or press on the "Enter" key.
6. That's all.
When you want to disable Ultrasurf, this is what you do:
1. You click the small icon on the address bar at the top right hand corner.
2. A menu drops down.
3. From here you can see the on-off "switch" next to the word "Connected".
4. You click the "On" and it will slide to "Off" .
5. Next to it the word "Disconnected" appears.
6. The small Ultrasurf icon at the address bar turns to gray color.
