Spam Blogs Deleted By Blogger

|
Practically every day, you read or hear people all over the world complaining and some even cussing Blogger for deleting their Blogger blogs.

Some say that Blogger deleted their blogs without notification.

There are others who accuse Blogger picked on their sites when their online earnings started picking up, getting higher Page Rank and other similar angry remarks.

Well, if you look through, most of the deleted blogs are the ones which have violated the Terms of Service (TOS) of Blogger. Frankly, how many of you Blogspot publishers actually read the TOS? Or understand thoroughly about the terms?

Many if not all, whose blogs which have been deleted by Blogger are said to be SPAMS. Interestingly most of them could not understand how their blogs were considered as spams.

Then they are referred to this link Blogger Term of Service  via  http://blogger.com/terms.g. Yes, there is so much confusion and indignation over this issue of  spams. You end up reading articles about spams, splogs, scraped content, and tons of similar complaints over Blogger Help Forum.

I understand your frustrations. After two or three years of writing, Blogger said that you have violated its TOS and your so-called "clean" blogs ended up as spams. And you have to start all over again and maybe meet the same fate again! Phew!

So, what so one really need to do? Personally I believe that since you signed up with Blogger, you should abide by their terms and conditions. Do accordingly as advised. Follow the famous 4 step-protocol, if you think that your blog is no spam. This is what you should do:

1. Read the articles, as suggested.
2. Submit a review request.
3. Submit an appeal.
4. Write out to mention that you have taken steps #2 and #3. Also mentioned the date when you have executed steps #2 & #3, together with your deleted BlogSpot URL(s). Post it at the Blogger Help Forum (Something Is Broken).

Of course some of them get back their blogs after the review and appeal. So be patient, Just follow as advised.

For those of you who are not too happy and worry your blog(s) might be the next "victim" of being deleted, you should get your own custom domain and redirect or migrate your blog(s) to a paid host like BlueHost as shown below.

Happy blogging.
