If you just set up your new Blogger blog, and if you click on a post, you will notice that on your Title bar (the horizontal blue band right at the top of your blog), shows the name of your blog first then only followed by your post title or the name of your post, right?
It is said that, having your post title behind is not good for SEO (search engine optimization). You want your keywords from the post title to show first to be picked up by the spider.
By having the post title in front, will improve the chances of your posts being picked up in search engine results for your keywords.
So how to make your post title appear in front of the title bar?
1. Log into your Blogger account.
2. Click Design > Edit HTML .
3. Look for <data:blog.pageTitle/>
4. Change the word Title to Name. So now it looks like this: <data:blog.pageName/>
5. Click "Save Template".
Note: You can find the code at the top portion of the code template. Somewhere down after the <head>
