Shut Down Windows 7 Right Away Without Having To Install Windows Update
You wanted to shut down your windows 7, and you noticed a yellow triangle with exclamation mark symbol next to "Shut down".
And if you clicked on the shut down button, you have to wait for a rather long time for the Windows to install update.
In other words, you are unexpectedly being held up by the Windows Update.
You need to wait to for it to update then only your PC can be shut down.
For most of us who prefer to unplug the power of the computer after we shut down the system, then this is a pain.
Or probably it is late in the night or you need to rush out to do some important chores or appointments.
Worry no more.
Here is a simple quick tip to show you how you can shut down your computer without having to waste your time waiting for the Windows 7 to update.
Avoid Installing Windows updates During Shut Down
You need to open the blue color screen called Windows 7 Security Screen. (as shown below)
1. Press Ctrl + Alt + Delete keys to get to the security screen.
2. At the bottom right hand corner, you can see the red color button.
3. Click on the small white triangle.
4. It will drop down a menu with these options:
Restart, Sleep, Shut down and Install updates and shut down.
5. You select "Shut down" and click on it.
That's all.
No more waiting restlessly for the Windows to update when you shut down your Windows.
