Problem Deactivate Or Remove W3 Total Cache Plugin?

 A quick guide how to deactivate or remove W3 Total Cache plugin.

This is what you need to do:

1. Firstly you need to update it to the latest version of W3 Total Cache.

2. Go to WordPress Dashboard >>Plugins>>W3Total Cache

3. Click on Settings. Remove all the ticks in the Enable boxes. Then click Save all settings button.

4. Now you should see a red color remark on top which says: “The plugin is currently disabled”.

5. Go back to your WordPress dashboard and scroll down to W3 Total Cache plugins.

6. Click on Deactivate. Then click on Delete.

The next step is you go to your site host (Bluehost, HostGator, etc).

7. Click on File Manager and locate your site's root directory.

8. Next click on “wp-content” directory.

9. Now look for:

w3-total-cache-config.php
db.php
advanced-cache.php
w3tc 


Then delete the files (if they are there).

By following these steps, you should have removed on uninstalled W3 Total Cache.
