Here is one quick fix to improve those blog posts that have already been ranked.
1. First go Google Analytics or Statcounter to look at your current targeted keywords or keyword phrases that have already ranked in search engines.
2. Take a look at the blog posts of that keywords or keyword phrases that have been sending you traffic.
3. If these posts are still not ranking among the top three for the keywords, now it is time to link those blog posts from your new posts to boost their ranking.
4. In other words, link your new blog posts to your older, relevant posts.
5. Make sure the anchor text is the keyword phrase which you are trying to improve its ranking.
6. Another important point to remember is make sure the link is at the begining of the new blog post; the link should be above-the-fold.
7. You can write a few new blog posts to interlink to your older posts.
8. But vary the anchor texts for internal linkings from each new post.
