1. Type about:config in the browser address. You will see this warning sign. Click the box: "I'll be careful, I promise!".
2. You will see a full page of texts like this:
3. Next right click on this page. Then select New > Boolean and click on it.
4. Now you will see new value boolean box. Enter extensions.checkCompatibility.4.0 in the preference box. Next click OK. Then set the value to False.
That’s all you need to do to get your old Add-ons to work or compatible with the new Firefox 4.
